Pushing incarna, without any significant updates to eve's core gameplay. Pushing MT in 'an uphill battle' against your very own playerbase. Sealing the deal with greed is good.
I guess my sub-fee isnt good enough anymore. MT has made my a second rate eve-citizen, because I am not willing to MT ever.
I'll play till the current sub runs out, and the I'll go elsewhere.

Originally by: Voltaire Leriel Though the content of this memo is rather disturbing, the most shocking thing for me is the tone of it.
It's extremely patronizing. Does CCP really see us as some kind of untapped cash reservoir that they need to exploit at all costs?
Are we just sheep with wallets, morons waiting to be duped out of our hard-earned cash for a piece of virtual cloth that costs as much or more than a real piece of cloth?
I think they severely underestimate the intelligence level of their playerbase, just how stupid do they think we are?
I've been getting a bad feeling about CCP for a while now... Every time I see a dev on the alliance tourney panel who doesn't know EVE from a hole in the ground.
I used to look up to CCP as one of the warmer and more understanding companies in the game industry. But I have lost a lot of respect for it today.
You guys don't know your game anymore, you don't play it anymore, you don't know your playerbase and you certainly don't know me or why I like or play this game, even though you have met me at several FanFests.
I have played since beta, I've never unsubbed my account, and I feel substantially betrayed.
I think they see their playerbase as a bunch of 15 year olds who think pew pew is fun and pay with our fathers CC. In reality we are all far past puberty and know the value of money and have the intellect not to fall for MT-mallarky.

Originally by: Fascimilita You do realise that you can't just sweep this under the rug and hope it blows over, right? That you've been caught trying to pull a fast one on your sole group of customers, as in, the only people keeping the lights on and your mortgages paid? You're running out of time to get the deciders in here to offer their grovelling apologies and commit, in no uncertain terms, to limited and vanity-only microtransactions throughout eve; fail to do that or try to brush it aside, and you're going to face a catastrophic drop in subscriber numbers to a level that won't begin to support a 600 man enterprise. Inaction is suicide.

THIS... is utterly hilarious. They break out the PR staff to abate the pitchforks and then one calls us stupid and ignorant behind our backs?
AHHH ha ha ha ha. Kristoffer's ass is that way ---------------------------------------->
Sorry if I'm late on this but I woke up to an 80+ page thread and I'm still catching up.
I fail to see what logic we are missing?

Originally by: xeitgeist Now there's 100 pages of community feedback that CCP is never going to read!
Well I am glad they responded to our concerns in such a timely fashion......

Originally by: Lidia Zarmel I don't see 50% or more of the EVE player base quitting over the CQ problems. I haven't experienced any problems in relates to performance. . .. but I tested everything on CCP's test server.
All of those that are complaining, did you not log into the test server to give CCP feedback on performance issues or other problems? There is a reason why CCP has that in place as it's the best method of Q/A testing having the player base. . . with a wide varity of system platforms to fully test out their product. And I am willing to bet 90% of those with problems never logged to test anything before June 21st.
Personally I don't care about any newsletters supposedly leaked or comments that is against the CQ. This was a foundation and majority of the posts I read tended to level out as nothing more than Drama.
I pay my sub fees every month and enjoy the game for 3+ years now. The captain quarters is a nice add and the only comment I can make on that is I feel CCP should have waited until the station was fully complete. As there is nothing we can do in the CQ other than look at ourselves in the mirror. But I understand the concept.
I just wished the general community further tested this before it went live on TQ. Then the majority of these problems would have been addressed and this expansion wouldn't have been released till those bugs were worked out.
Please get informed about the actual issue.

Originally by: Grey Stormshadow I wonder why making newspost is so hard. Here I write you 2 examples, pick one:
Example 1: Hey my fellow veteran capsuleers, go f#ck yourselves.
Example 2: Hey my fellow "greed is good" ccp employers, this brown envelope contains your exit strategy.
See? That wasn't hard. Now do it!
Hello playerbase prepare to grab ankles and be boarded.

Originally by: Kaethe Kollwitz did anyone specify an answer re: mt yet then?
didnt think so.
Onwards thread, onwards.
Yeah didnt think so. Well I have moved on to another game, its a lot like eve but with mech and gm's who actually care. Maybe I will be back if the answer to the non-vanity/services question is no, probably not.

CSM is allready polling the bittervets on MT. Here
I guess MT for non-vanity items is allready an option on the table for the CSM.
